AC Milan will take on Salernitana next weekend for several figures, it will be the last game with the Rossoneri. In addition to Stefano Pioli, whose departure will be confirmed in the coming days, four players are also in the same situation.

It has been a rather disappointing season for Milan and the management has already decided to part ways with Pioli. The manager confirmed that he will soon meet with the directors, and reports claim that the exit will be announced before the Salernitana game.

That way, the fans will be able to give Pioli a proper farewell, having brought the club back to the Champions League before clinching a Scudetto. In addition to the manager, it will also be the last Milan game for Antonio Mirante, Simon Kjaer, Mattia Caldara and Olivier Giroud.

All four of these are on expiring contracts and none of them will be renewed, which has been confirmed in recent months. Giroud announced his exit on Monday this week, having reached an agreement with LAFC, but this had been known for quite some time.

Mirante recently struggled with an injury and missed a few games, but he has recovered and could thus get some playing time. Kjaer failed to make it back against Torino so there is a race against the clock for him, while Caldara should remain on the bench anyway.
